Then maybe I'll start. I personally use Aegisub to create subtitles. The first thing I do is upload 10-15 minute audio snippets from videos on Youtube. After a few minutes, Youtube will generate English subtitles, you can then download them. The rest you have to adjust in the Aegisub program. I also use speech detection in Google Translate as Youtube has not completely detected something Of course, this method is not 100% accurate because there is always a fragment that you can not understand. I hope I helped. (In my subtitles, I put in the comments drafts of subtitles in English that need to be corrected/improved)

I use the same technique than swierszczyk69. About the subtitles software, because I'm running Linux, I often use Gaupol (more basic than Aegisub). I also tried SubtitleEdit on Windows which is pretty good. The big part is the dialogs transcription. I didn't know google translate has such a feature, I will try, thanks! Most of the time, I use this youtube technique, but the result may be real garbage if: - audio quality of your movie is bad - the language is not english (some other language are ok though... you have to try...) If you're an "advanced user" in computer, you may have a look at pyTranscriber, it uses google API to make the speech recognition. There is also AutoSub, but I never tried it. When audio is not in good quality, I use ffmpeg (for advanced users too...) in order to remove the noise and make dialogs more clear. I guess some tools exist for it, but I don't know them. Very important tip: if you never sub a movie before, choose one of your very favourite. Making subs for a movie you don't like may be a real pain! :)

I never tried these translators, but I totally have to! By the way, subtitlecat is a well known place for JAV subtitles seekers. I won't have time to sub the last Emma Marx, but if you want, I can try to find it and make the speech recognition, so you could clean them with Aegisub. It's up to you :) PS: J'ai regardé les sous-titres de Elements Of Desire, ça ressemble vraiment à mes premiers travaux d'il n'y a pas si longtemps, bien joué! ;)
