Recently, a comment came up in one of my uploads where the user commented that it was a shame the files were so big, so they could not put them on flash cards.  And I commented that they could use some free software to help solve that problem.  And I decided to put a simple and easy to follow guide in how to do exactly that.
For video editing, I use VSDC.  It is a free program, and not all that hard to use.  I started to do this as many of the Japanese videos had these 1-3 minute long commercials in front, which caused problems with the timing of the SRT file.  So I got the program and used that to cut them out.  But it also came in handy when sometimes I would combine movies that were cut into two halves into a single file.  The program is free to use, and is available here.

VDSC is a free x86 program, but there are likely very similar programs for other operating systems.

Once you load it in, you just select the button to import content, and select the file you want to edit.  If you have something at the front (or rear) you want to cut out, just forward the time until you are just past the point you want to cut.  And in the toolbar at the top under Editor is "Cutting and Splitting".  Click the arrow next to the icon of a pair of scissors, and select "Trim Start" to cut everything before the time marked, or "Trim End" to cut everything after.  To combine 2 different videos, you can just drag the second one to the timeline at the bottom, and slide it against the first.

Then when you are done, at the top is a choice for "Export Project".  Click there, and you have multiple options.  Including different devices for playback, and different encoding codecs.  Including AVI, MPG, WMV, and more.  Then you can select one of those, and at the bottom select different quality settings.  This is an easy way to take a huge 1080p video, and save it as a smaller 480p video.  Just set the path you want it saved to, a file name, and select "Export Project" at the top.  The length of time will vary depending on quality and length, but on average 10-30 minutes later you will have your edited video.

And it really is not hard.  I first started doing it just so I could cut out those commercials so the video and subtitle would work properly together.  But since then I have expanded into other things, especially as many of the URE videos I got had been split into two halves, and the subtitle files were a single file.  So I had to learn to combine the two into a single video.
I have even been considering making my own "clip videos", as there are some I would like to see, but have not seen available yet.  And someday I will likely make some, as they are subjects that do interest me, even if nobody else has done them yet.  Like the facial expression and moans of pleasure when a guy first enters a gal.  As fake as the reactions from many are later during the act, that one is almost always a real reaction.

Like the URE series, many large videos are cut in half. The problem is that someone did just that, cut it in half by the clock and not by the scene. MIMK and a few other series do this as well. Annoying. Frostwire sometimes can provide you with the video in it's original entirety, no loss of frames, and you can later cut it at the right point for uploading ease.

BTW, why in the world would you want to change a beautiful 1080p video to a 480p? I try to only post 1080p and as high a bit rate as I can get (Thank you, Frostwire! MWAH!) The real problem is finding a site that will allow you to upload larger videos AND maintain the quality when played. Spankbang is the only one I know of. Every other site downgrades the quality. (Spankbang's downloader, however, does NOT maintain the uploaded quality, so keep an archive of your finished videos.)

Videosoft is pretty good. I typically use videosolo. Lots of options, but lots of limitations. Someday I hope to get and learn how to use Adobe Premiere.

There are two main reasons why somebody may downgrade a video.

First, if they have a large collection and are more concerned with storage space than resolution.  By downgrading the resolution they make the file a lot smaller.

The second is for ease of play on other devices.  A lot of portable devices can not handle large resolution files (or handle them poorly).  About 14 years ago that was a big thing as many were making special downgrades that were set for best viewing and size on say Playstation Portables.  And as if memory serves me right that could handle at most 480x272, that may very well be what you have.  

And yes, many of the early URE works were cut into two files.  That was actually done by the company, Remember that was 2012, and once again file size was a reason.  By that time people were starting to use their phones more as portable devices, and videos can quickly use all of that storage up.  Many times I have gone through and recombined them into a single video.

In the last weeks I have gotten back into a kind of hobby I had years ago, making my own "Porn Music Videos".  And it's kind of fun, selecting clips from various porn sources and others and making my own music videos.  So far I have completed ones for "Afternoon Delight" by Starland Vocal Band, "I Must Increase My Bust" by Lords of Acid, "I Love Big Tits" by Joe Walsh, "Little Girls" by Oingo Boingo, "Mama Told Me Not To Come" by Three Dog Night, "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" by The Hollies, and "More, More, More" by the Andrea True Collection.

Think about why someone would watch porn on their phone, and now think about when you last used someone else's phone.

Okay. Guess I'm the last of the dinosaurs, making HD and using externals for storage, so I can watch them on a bigger screen in my home instead of the men's room at lunch. LOL

I love making porn music videos. Only ever needed MS Video Editor for that. Haven't made any in a long time though. (I did use 'Afternoon Delight' for one. Another used 'I wanna hold your hand'. (Guess what that one is about!)

BTW: Yarn weaving. Any thoughts?

Oh hell, I had seen more than a few people watching porn on their phones over the years.  I even had to nudge a guy on the ferry on the way home once as even though his blue tooth headphones were apparently working, the sound was still coming over the speaker in his phone.

When I did videos last time it was still in Premiere.  But my version now is almost 20 years old, so I moved to something else as I see no reason to pay Adobe's prices for what is a hobby.  I am now knocking out about one a day, maybe an hour or so of actual work.  Today, I actually did "Sugar, Sugar", by The Archie's.

As for yarn weaving, no idea.  It might be word play, but I don't know enough Japanese to pick up things that subtle.  Quite often, they are even plays on different ways the written characters can be read.  Like singer Kyu Sakamoto.  His actual name was Hisashi ( 九 ), but an alternate way to read it is "Kyu", which is actually a nickname as that is the number 9, and he was the ninth child in his family.
