In the subtitles draft file for RCT-440, which I have posted, two expressions are used. I don't believe an English speaking audience would understand their use. I certainly don't. If you download the srt you'll see them. Haven't had a chance to check them with the video yet, as I am busy with other projects right now.

Anyway, the expressions used are:

Vinegar

Mosquito

Any help would be appreciated for later work on this draft file.

The first and the second "vinegar" is at the family introduction, so i think it's a false positive, a word that means nothing or an attempt to transcribe music, lol.
You can skip them i think.

Any idea about mosquito? I've heard it used in some Chinese films as derogative, a little pest, but that doesn't seem to be the case in this movie.

With the first "mosquito", it's the same with "vinegar", introduction to the brother at 1m40s:
- How old are you ?
- 18 years old.
- What are you doing at 18?
- I'm a student.
- You're a student.
- Yes.
- It's okay, don't be nervous.

You see, i don't have a "mosquito" so it's just a bad transcription or a cut sentence.
It's hard to translate japanese, with Google translate or otherwise, if the sentence is not cut properly, you can have a lot of difference if you have a block or separate words.

Ex : This :
おいくつですか?18歳です18歳で何されてるんですか?学生です学生さんね緊張しなくて大丈夫ですからね

Don't be exactly the same with :
おいくつですか?
18歳です
18歳で何されてるんですか?
学生です
学生さんね
緊張しなくて大丈夫ですからね

I think it's the same for the rest.
So when it's strange, something is wrong!

Yeah, I hate those. When I do a machine extraction, I always hit the 'merge sentences' option BEFORE translating to English. Probably just a bad MT.
