Hi, The search engine is based on the previous site layout, when JAV data was stored in the details of the movie. You're right, we should now change the search engine: I add it on the todo-list. That should be done soon. About the forum, we won't improve it now. Migration to an external forum seems to be the best solution. Done. There is now a "Scope" option for the search engine, where you can choose to search your keyword in all data, titles or cast. Also, when you click an actress name, the "Scope: cast only" option is automatically set.

ok, thanks, it's much better, but doesn't perfect yet. example: when we choose "search only in cast" and we write "Rache Love" or click on her name, there is only one movie with her in cast. it's first on the list, but we have 12 pages with "Rachel" or "Love" in cast, so people can think that some movies could to be in another pages.

Hi and Thank you! :) I'm aware of the "Rachel Love" issue, and it's made on purpose actually. The reason of this "feature" comes with the Asian movies cast (JAV, Asian Softcore, cat III, etc). - Asian people tends to write names in this order: "NAME Givenname", but Western people use "Givenname NAME" - Asian languages don't use the same alphabet. To transcript with our western alphabet (aka "romanizing"), there are several techniques. So the first name "Yu" can be transcripted to "Yû", "Yū" or "Yuu". The differences can become huge if you consider Chinese and Cantonese. For this reason, when searching for "Yu Shinoda" you should get: - Shinoda Yuu - Shinoda Yû (篠田ゆう) - Yu Shinoda - ... For this, I use a natural language algorithm with a score. Unfortunately, there are false-positive... but if I make it more accurate, I'll get false-negative. So I prefer false-positive. The real best way to do this would be to have a complete actresses database. But it doesn't exist, and creating it is quite impossible (you know, in adult video world, actresses have hundreds of akas, homonyms, ... and mostly uncredited in movie databases) -

Yeah, I know what you mean, the difference is looking for "Laure" and/or "Sainclair" vs looking for just "Sainclair". I'll try to make a specific function when requesting for a name.
