Well, while a lot of the Golden Age actresses did indeed come and go, a great many were there for a decade or more. And remember, this is an industry that really did not exist prior to 1972 and "Deep Throat". And they tended to fall into a few categories. Real actresses like Kay Parker were the "Anchors". They could really act, so a great many films were made around them. Then there were the "Nasties". Vanessa Del Rio, Lili Marlene, and others who were known to be willing to do almost anything. Anal, double anal, gangbangs, Ron Jeremy, they were on call for many years simply because almost nothing was off limits for them. Then you had the "specialists". These were the younger girls that could also act, but were generally ethnic so were on call for that. Kristara Barrington, Desire West, Angel Kelly, and others. They were popular because they actually could act, and add some "exotic" flavor to a movie. Then there are the rest that often came and went. No real experience acting, they were doing porn for the sex and money. Many had addiction problems, could not find good relationships, and the myriad other things that caused them to crash and burn. Suicides and drug addiction and overdose accounts for a lot of them. Of course few could act so once they got older their careers were over. And a few did find other careers. Wendy O. Williams was actually a trained performer. She did some live sex shows, then started to enter the porn industry in the late 1970's. However, after only a few movies she was asked to join the punk group "The Plasmatics". But today, it seems to be so much worse. Where as an "in demand" actress could do maybe 2 dozen movies a year back then, today I see them with over 200 in a single year. Of course, as modern porn has no real expectations of actually acting, all they are today is living sex toys.

Why not for a transgender movie? Natalie Mars is a pretty one and do a lot of extreme scenes, she's a good performer. Yesterday I started the film "LA MACHINE À DÉBOÎTER LE TEMPS", i didn't finish because I felt sick (not because of the movie of course), but it was a good one with animated parts. It's about a time machine that only works with male semen, so Luna Rival has to go get the precious liquid.

I happen to like T-Porn. Hope I didn't sound that way, and I very much like Natalie Mars' work. One movie she's a sweet little mischievous, flirtatious sister, and in the next she's a demon right out of Ringu. (My favorite: Sex With An Angel) I merely thought it rather paradoxical that a niche porn, which has been growing over the last 2 decades, would put this amount of time, effort, and cash into good, storyline porn. The multiple big rich studios haven't tried very well. They have some good stories, but not the guts to see it through and make it even plausible let alone believable. I only hope this increases and catches on with the rest of the studios.
