- Yoshizawa Akiho is an innocent woman that is serving life in prison for the murder of her husband. But she aches for revenge on the man that raped her, then framed her for the murder of her husband. However, she is then given an offer by her rapist and the murderer, to take part in an escape game.
She agrees to take part, where she has to evade capture for three days. If she does so, she is free, her record is cleared, and she gets ¥10,000,000 (US$100,000). She is then put in a nice dress, and given more specifics. She must stay within three kilometers of where she starts, and an abandoned resort. If she leaves that area, the bomb collar that has been placed around her neck will explode. Evade the hunters for three days or overcome them if captured, and she is a free woman.
However, the hunters each paid ¥1,000,000 to be able to participate, and can not kill the person hunted. But they are allowed to do anything else they want to get her to reveal where the treasure at the end is hidden.
This is kind of a combination of two old movies. The first is obviously "The Running Man", but more based on the original book than the movie. The other is "Deadlock" starring Rutger Hauer.
