Catherine Burgess is a sensual, ultra-sexy, bored, and traumatized high-society housewife who enters a sexual hell for the depraved (DeSade style) through a mirror stored in the attic of her mansion. During these "trips" to the underworld, she contacts her deceased father (now embodying the devil himself), who obsessively demands her to continue abusing her on the "other side." The sex scenes are vigorous and highly erotic, and beautifully filmed with a production design that offers a thematic coherence rarely found in carnal films.
Harry Manfredini, the man who became famous for his basic musical contribution to "Friday the 13th," also composed the music for this sumptuous and highly original hardcore film, a clear inspiration for future productions in the industry. Although conceived as an adult film, the high quality of the production allowed for a erotic version for general audiences. Although some of the performances (from porn veterans) are not too convincing, some actors are truly superb (like the sensual Catharine Burgess, or the always “porn villain” Jaime Gillis).
