Junior (a long-gone Kevin James) is infatuated with his sister, the sexy Sherry (a Dorothy Le May “on her mark”). The two happen to run into Barbara (a still-dazzling Kay Parker), and Junior gets her address under the guise of “returning some tools her son, Paul, lent her.” Later, while Barbara is getting an erotic massage at home from her kinky friend Gina (the incomparable Juliet Anderson), the doorbell rings and Junior appears with a metal box (“tools instead of flowers, how original,” a sarcastic Gina remarks in a memorable line). The ensuing threesome is intensely erotic, and Junior eventually learns about Barbara’s past sexual encounters with her son, which practically prompts him to do the same with his mother (a Honey Wilder at her best). The Kirdy Stevens-led “Taboo” series was a controversial hit when it originally premiered, so it seemed pretty obvious there would be sequels (too many, perhaps). The first installment broke the mold with its mother-son incest theme, and with this sequel, they wanted to go further by breaking other taboos as well (brother-sister, father-daughter, etc.). Incest, a subject incomprehensible to most in Western culture, was a popular theme in adult films of the 1980s, and after tackling the subject in the successful original, Kirdy Stevens and screenwriter Helene Terrie let go of any inhibitions about its treatment, making “Taboo II” just the next of a handful of installments.
