A teenager named Eric (a young Luc Templar) has a beautiful sweet-natured girlfriend, but he falls madly in love with a considerably older woman named Helene (a sensationally sexy Michèle Perello) when he sees her and her husband Francois playing on the beach and having wild sex in the dune grass. An intimacy soon develops between Eric and Helene, as she feels extremely lonely and "sexually abandoned" due to Francois's absence for a few days on business, so the boy becomes the perfect companion in her time of "need."
Based on an irrefutably morbid script (in the style of Robert Mulligan's "Summer of '42"), Christian Lara constructs a narrative that is too weak, perhaps because he only designed it for consumers of alternative pornography. And indeed, the sex scenes, featuring the delightful forty-something Michèle Perello, are truly beautiful, and don't focus primarily on the most explicit aspects, but rather provide an authentic aroma of romanticism that is unusual in commercial adult films.
