Silk (sexy former Hustler cover star Kelly Nichols) is a successful, routine-looking late-night radio host who fears losing her job to a horny bimbo (a perfectly cast Janey Robbins, who turns up the volume and the heat) who's been sleeping with the station manager, hoping to be named Silk's replacement. But Laura, the boss's secretary, professes sympathy and loyalty to Silk, and sets up a video camera to record the couple's antics in the office. The results are then unexpectedly shown to the network's sponsors, calling into question the manager's judgment, which was based primarily on his own pleasure rather than the success of the original host.
Although he failed to make much of a splash in his brief directorial career, R. Michael Stringer's (AKA Mike Stryker) real merit was his previously overlooked talent as a cinematographer. She worked on some of pervert Joe Davian's most popular films, such as "Girls USA" and "Manhattan Mistress," and added atmosphere to the carnal pleasures in Phil Marshak's "Intimate Lessons." So, "Slip Into Silk" definitely looks beautiful, which is good, since it doesn't have a particularly original script, but it does feature some very nice and kinky sex scenes.
