Attractive and anxious teenager Bella (well played by the sexy Tracy Adams) discovers her mother Susan (the voluptuous Diana Sloan) having an adulterous affair with attractive neighbor Tom (the always solid Eric Edwards) while her father (Jake Teague) is away on business. Bella confronts Tom and demands that he make love to her the same way he made love to her mother, and complications arise when Bella and Susan find themselves in a fierce rivalry over which woman will have Tom all to herself.
Accredited writer-director Alexander Kubelka directs this atmospheric romantic drama that was perhaps too arty for mainstream 1980s porn viewers. It's a work reminiscent of the excellent erotic dramas of the great Joseph W. Sarno. Carter Stevens, usually a stranger to "romantic" films, provides cinematography enhanced by detail, helping to create a story that becomes fascinatingly sordid while moving at a steady pace and creating a powerful erotic atmosphere. The originality also lies in the fact that Bella is not portrayed here as the typical pure and innocent young girl, but as a selfish and calculating person willing to do anything.
