The editor of the adult magazine Panther Skin, Sue Forbes (the legendary Georgina Spelvin), is under pressure from an organization called "Morality Over Madness" (MOM), which intends to shut down the publishing house to set an example against "public indecency." But the truth is that most of the models who have graced the magazine's covers have progressed in their careers and are now "respectable members" of society, so Sue enlists all of them to help her "influence" the puritanical members of the organization (exactly what you're thinking). Each of them, with their own mission, soon expose the moral contradictions of each MOM member by creating certain bonds of disparate nature.
The early 1980s were a very good time for the late Gary Graver (aka Robert McCallum), teaming up with producer Harold Lime for several of the most lavish films the adult industry had ever produced (1979's "Ecstasy Girls" and 1981's "Amanda by Night"), titles so iconic that they overshadowed many of the productions of the time. Today's film critics are always surprised by the "real" nature of the pornographic films that premiered on the big screens in major cities during the Golden Age of adult cinema, or "Porno Chic." Although budgets were very tight, the creativity and skill in the celluloid craft were enormous. Quality cinematography, solid acting, well-crafted scripts... these were moments of excitement for the craft, delighting those who wanted to enjoy their weekly "pound of flesh."
