"Little Girls Blue" approached the end of a decade that was glorious for carnal cinema, and the homage paid to the schoolgirl fetish here closes a paradigm that wasn't repeated with the sequel, five years later. The cinematic resources of Maria Lease (renowned porn actress, who here directs under the name Joanna Williams) are evident, not only in the creative montages that superimpose different shots to explain a thought or a dream, but also in her ability to mix in subtle and irreverent gags while the surreal touches merge with the plot. Bill Matchton's music, with the whisper of a harp and the sound of a Rhodes, fits perfectly with the various sexual sequences.
