"Le Prix de la Luxure" is a 1997 film featuring the famous Laure Sainclair.

It’s the story of a couple: Laure (Laure Sainclair) and John (David Perry), who will separate only to find each other again.

It all begins one day when Laure has to go on a business trip. John takes the opportunity to see his mistress (Océane). Laure catches them and decides to leave John.

Deeply saddened, Laure then decides to hire a witch to cast a spell on John. Unfortunately, Matalana, the witch, warns her that it will come at a high cost—not just in money, but also in personal sacrifice.

I don’t know who dubs Matalana’s voice, but in the French version of the film, she truly has an enchanting voice.

What follows is a series of scenes with Laure, then with John. Laure must submit to the challenges set by Matalana, meeting several men. First, a scene with Roberto Malone, then another with Mike Foster and Zenza Raggi.

Oddly enough, I’m not a huge fan of Laure Sainclair, but she is absolutely stunning in these scenes.

Matalana keeps demanding more challenges and money, and Laure begins to rebel against her, wanting results. Even John’s friend, Bruno SX, takes advantage of the situation to sleep with Laure.

Meanwhile, John tries to forget Laure with several women, but the spell starts to take effect: despite the good opportunities his friend Bruno SX finds for him, he no longer feels pleasure when making love.

Eventually, he encounters Matalana too, who promises him he can regain both pleasure and Laure if he gives her everything.

John accepts the deal and ends up broke, living in a small apartment. Laure, who had set out to find him, eventually tracks him down, and together they rekindle the flames of their early love.

"Le Prix de la Luxure" is a rather romantic film. The scenes with Kathy Kash, Eva Falk, and Matalana are interesting, but it’s really Laure Sainclair who shines in every one of her scenes.

Thanks to hoonkies for the subtitles!
