Lovely series in the Japanese style.

Sexual tension has always been high between mother and son, and now he is getting ready to leave for college. They do profess their love for each other, but they know it can never be.

Then...

The mother receives a letter from the hospital where she had given birth to her son. There had been a mix up. They are NOT related. Realizing that they can now consummate their passion, they are still torn and racked with an emotional struggle. The mother and son end up outside in the rain, each pleading their case, each giving in to their love. They embrace...

All in all a wonderful and powerful love story, and I'm not saying that just because this is my favorite Genre of Japanese movies. The acting is superb, the dialogue is deep. You find yourself caring about the characters and hoping that they will find a way.

I won't give the ending away, but I can promise that you will love this, and the other movies in this series. I did ROE-123, and it was an emotional roller coaster for me.
