A special movie to me: Lady In Spain (1993)

The story of this movie can be summed up in a few words: "Three girls go on vacation in Spain and have fun." Period. There’s nothing more to the script.
Yet, this movie has something special:
1) It smells of vacation and sunshine
2) The girls are gorgeous.

There’s something magical about it: every time I’ve watched it, I’ve fallen under the spell of a different actress, and each one has been my favorite actress in the movie at some point.

As the title suggests, the film takes place in Spain, where 3 girls (Draghixa, Stephanie Hart-Rogers, and Samantha Shamal) arrive at the airport. I’m not sure exactly where—based on the clues I could find, it’s probably Malaga, the Costa Del Sol.

The girls have rented a villa, and while they’re on their way, the villa staff figure they still have enough time to have some fun. So, Rosanna Melendez lets herself be seduced by Alberto Rey and Richard Langin. They finish just in the nick of time before the girls arrive.

The girls settle in and go about their business in different ways. Draghixa takes some alone time until Janey Lamb, the rental company manager, comes to assist her. And when Richard Langin comes to clean the pool, he’s invited to join them too.

Meanwhile, Stephanie goes to buy some groceries and sprains her ankle. Honestly, I’ve never seen a "stunt" so poorly executed :)
Two men rush to help her, and Stephanie shows off her skills. Another great scene with a very beautiful girl.

If you like "behind the scenes" moments, you can see one of the actors pointing at Stephanie’s thigh: I assume it’s to tell the cameraman to zoom in on a semen stain:

Then, Samantha Shamal returns to the villa, telling Draghixa that "her kitty needs some fun" (sic). They find the gardener, who is soon joined by Richard Langin (again).
Samantha Shamal (aka Samantha Laurent) was a model for "Playboy" magazine, and it’s easy to see why. She’s stunningly beautiful.

The evening unfolds with a few shots of the girls in town. They look very natural.

The next morning, we see the staff at breakfast. They’re giving each other tips about the latest porn movies. Back then, I found this conversation unlikely, and here I am years later writing reviews about those same films ^^;

Anyway, Rosanna comes to ask if they need anything else, and they reply that she’d be a nice addition to breakfast.
As she’s taken by the two guys on the table, her boss shows up. She scolds her a bit, but Richard Langin manages to convince her to join in. Probably my favorite scene.

At the same time, the girls go on a boat trip.

The trip ends with a party that, unsurprisingly, turns into an orgy. The girls are, once again, very beautiful and very sexy.
I’m not a big fan of orgies because they often feel too chaotic. I prefer scenes that focus on a single couple.

The movie ends with the girls heading back to the airport. I really like the slightly judgmental look from the old lady watching them pass by, unaware that they’re in a porn film :)

In short, a movie I’ve had for many years and enjoy watching when I’m feeling down. Sunshine and beautiful girls—sometimes that’s all we need! :)
