I was caught up in the universal gravitation of a lecherous governess
Nostalgia is starting to hit me because this year, 2025, will mark the retirement of the beautiful Akari MITANI (Akane MITANI)... For me, she’s the ray of sunshine in JAV—pretty, lively... and professional, since this film, one of her last, is really good.
The story, though, is a classic one: a young student and his tutor. But here, Akari-chan plays a softer, almost romantic role.
It all begins with a chance meeting on the street between Mrs. Yamazaki and Akane, a young neighbor. Mrs. Yamazaki complains about her son, who isn’t working hard enough despite needing to prepare for his exams. Then she remembers that Akane had a solid education and offers to pay her to help her son.
Her son, Kenji, isn’t motivated, but as soon as his mom tells him the tutor is Akane, he becomes much more cooperative (and we easily understand why!).
So Kenji and Akane start working together, but being close to Akane makes him increasingly restless. Plus, Akane isn’t immune to finding him somewhat charming.
In the end, I think Kenji’s pretty smart because he does well on his exercises despite having a goddess right next to him... Personally, my brain would’ve stopped focusing on anything but Akari-chan’s smile...!
Then one day, Kenji can’t hold back anymore and lunges at Akane to kiss her. At first hesitant, Akane accepts the relationship and guides him to undress her.
She realizes Kenji left his phone recording the whole scene, but she lets him finish so she can blackmail him later: “After what you did to me, you have to listen to me and do what I say.”
And starting the next day, she’s the one telling him how to take care of her (I also think the camera angles were well chosen for this).
Despite all this, Kenji’s grades improve significantly! Kenji’s mom is delighted. She places full trust in Akane and even invites her over for dinner.
The study sessions continue, with other topics to explore.
And, taking advantage of Kenji’s mom’s trust, Akane finds a way to bring him to her place for the grand finale.
By the end of the film, we see that Kenji’s grades are top-notch, and he and Akane have found a rhythm: effort and reward.
In short, a really solid take on the boy/tutor story. And if you’re a fan of Akari MITANI, this film is a must-watch without hesitation!
