@moltenman09 : 480p, 720p, ... are image resolutions. Subtitles cannot depend on this. The easiest way to check compatibility is to check movie length when it's specified.
Correct truc1979. The only thing close to this that can matter is PAL compared to NTSC. Because that can actually affect that because PAL is 25 frames per second and NTSC is 30 frames per second. That means that a video in PAL will be 4% faster. Hard to tell at first, but the longer it plays the more the sync will be off between the image and subtitles.
yeah, both are right... in the end, the difference in frames per second (fps) will affect the duration and cause it to be out of sync (must be in sync to match).
