And I downloaded these subtitles and easily matched them to the appropriate movie - you only need to want, not whining all the time like an old grandma. Subtitles are OK.

Ah, overlooked it being the procured videos. Yes. 2 videos, each a different length. There's the problem right there. Find the commercially available video online and check the actual runtime. Many times, downloaded videos have been trimmed.
